I would have to say 1. My favorite Brandy and Aaliyah albums were definitely not their debuts. Her biggest hit came 2 years later when "Touch It" hit 9.
Brandy, however, tends to waver. The follow-up, "You," just missed the top 10, peaking at 11.
I am with an artist progressing — but within reason. Brandy I owned her debut. I also thought about this for Brandy, realizing that she just had so much more going on but she was hood as hell, too.
